Lofoten Viking extends it's production base.

Lofoten Viking AS has now purchased 91 percent of the fish factory N-503, Moskenes Fiskeindustri AS.

The factory is located in the Lofoten Islands as well, producing stockfish, fresh fish/fillets, salted fish and herring.

Lofoten Viking AS has also in recent years built two new freezing machines, which increase the production capacity by about 100 mt's. Totally freezing capacity is over 380 mt's/day. The project was finished in 2005 in good time for the herring season, which is late August .
