Haddock

Haddock  is a deep ocean fish that lives at depths of between 40 and 300 metres preferring to stay near the ocean floor. Reaching sizes up to 1.1 m, Haddock is available year-round and is one of the most important food fishes in Norway, being an excellent source of protein. Fresh haddock has a fine white flesh which is extremely lean, containing plenty of vitamin B12, pyridoxine and selenium and has a good balance of sodium and potassium.
