Global Fish AS has conducted a private placement towards Lofoten Viking AS, which gives Lofoten Viking AS 40% of the shares of Global Fish AS.

Nergård AS (majority owner (52%) of Lofoten Viking AS ), Lofoten Viking AS and Global Fish AS have further agreed to establish a sales company by the name of Global Fish Sales AS.  This company shall be handling all pelagic fish from the three companies, and in addition whitefish and by-products from Lofoten Viking AS.  Headquater for Global Fish Sales AS will be Ålesund and branchoffice in Tromsø.  Budget turnover in Global Fish Sales AS shall be approx 1.7billion NOK.

The production facilities will be situated in Florø, Værøy and Senja, which will give Global Fish Sales AS a wide range of fish products.  This will secure our market position and our customers  throughout the various seasons of wild fish from Norway.

Global Fish AS har gjennomført en rettet emisjon mot Lofoten Viking AS på Værøy, som gir Lofoten Viking AS en eierandel på 40 prosent i Global Fish AS. Nergård AS er majoritetseier i Lofoten Viking AS.

– Nergård AS, Lofoten Viking AS og Global Fish AS har videre besluttet å etablere et felles salgsselskap, Global Fish Sales AS. Global Fish Sales AS vil ha hovedkontor i Ålesund og et avdelingskontor i Tromsø. Global Fish Sales AS vil i hovedsak omsette alle pelagiske produkter fra Nergård Sild AS, Lofoten Viking AS og Global Fish AS. I tillegg omfatter avtalen deler av hvitfisk og biprodukter fra Lofoten Viking AS. Selskapet beregnes å få en årlig omsetning omkring 1.7 milliarder, heter det i en pressemelding.

Gjennom salgsselskapet Global Fish Sales AS vil en ifølge pressemelding kunne styrke markedsposisjonen til alle tre partene, samt skape trygghet hos kunder i primærmarkedene gjennom et utvidet sortiment og større volum.
