Cod stomach
Cod stomach is a Northern Norwegian traditional specialty known to most people along the coast.
Filled with liver, onion, salt and pepper, it is served in the old-fashioned manner with mashed potatoes.
The stomach bags are scrapped and cleaned and then placed in ice water, which makes the stomach bags whiter and more delicate before packing.
