Cod is one of the most common and economically important marine fishes in Norway,and one of the best sea foods on the market, with a good source of protein, plenty of vitamin B12 and selenium, and a healthy balance of sodium and potassium.

Pr 100g cod, total amount vitamin D is 600 IU (150% of Daily Value),that of vitamin B6 is 0.4 mg (21% of Daily Value), vitamin B12 is 1.0 mcg (17% of Daily Value) and Selenium is 36.5mcg (52% of Daily Value)
